As we arrive to the height of our Lenten fastings, it can be easy to fall into discouragement. Holy Thursday is the start of the Triduum🤍 What is so special about the start of Holy Thursday is the celebration of both Jesus washing the feet of the Apostles along with the Institution of the Eucharist at the Last Supper. Pray with the following reflections on both these pivotal events

happy Holy Wednesday! ❤️‍🔥 🤍 Excerpt from todays Gospel: << On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples approached Jesus and said, “Where do you want us to prepare for you to eat the Passover?” He said, “Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, ‘The teacher says, “My appointed time draws near; in your house I shall celebrate the Passover with my disciples.”’” The disciples then did as Jesus had ordered, and prepared the Passover. >> As we approach the beginning of the Triduum, let us remember that at the Last Supper, as He breaks the bread — Jesus is the offering, the lamb. God the Father offers His only son so that we may have eternal life. Let us say an “I love you” to Jesus, as He reminds us of this often — but we rarely tell Him or show Him this.
