Men's Ministry: EGEIRO (Rise Up)

Our Mission Statement:
By way of formation, fraternity, and fellowship, EGEIRO aims to equip men with the tools needed to embrace their masculine identity as son, husband, and father, in order to live out their missionary calling in the world. Commitment to Christ’s teachings, brotherly bonds, and service to the Church, lie at the heart of what we value and who we are.

EGEIRO meaning;
- to arouse, cause to rise
- to arouse from sleep, to awake
- to arouse from the sleep of death, to recall the dead to life to cause to rise from a seat or bed etc.
- to raise up, produce, cause to appear

Objectives of Men's Ministry EGEIRO

1. Formation
a. Offer formative experiences, topics, and discussions that equip men with the tools needed to live out their identity as son, husband, and father.

2. Family
a. Assist in the reclaiming of the role of the father in the family, in order to transform our parish, communities, and city.

3. Fraternity
a. Challenge men to commit to journey consistently with other men who are serious about their faith, and focused on keeping Christ at the center of their lives and their homes.

4. Fellowship

a. Provide a space where men are able to bond shoulder to shoulder with other men, and be renewed and strengthened through strong brotherly friendships.

5. Service
a. Give men the tools and opportunities to move beyond themselves in the service of others, whether that be in their homes, places of work, local community, or parish.

6.. Parish Involvement
a. Build a group of solid men that are in complete service to the parish, always willing to help in any way that is requested or needed.
